The NYSFA Summer Falconry picnic is on Sunday July 28th at the small pavilion in Tawasentha Park 188 NY-146, Altamont, NY 12009. From 11am until 5pm. Plan on lunch (Meat) being ready by 12-12:30.
As we’ve done in the past. We will have burgers and dogs provided(and condiments). As well as water. The rest, is in our fine potluck fashion, which has yet to disappoint. Bring some drinks, appetizers, or desert to share! There is limited power, so if you plan to bring a crockpot please let Sean know.
The picnic tables will likely be taken up quickly by food. So unless you plan on standing for the afternoon, I do suggest you bring a “camp chair”. There is ample shade to work with.
This picnic is family friendly, there is even sizable playground as well as public restrooms in close proximity. This park is Glass free. Any beverages must be in plastic or metal. There will not be a formal weathering yard. Anyone wishing to bring a bird, you do so at your own responsibility.
